Old ends new beginnings

Chapter 8

The day after, Holly was in her studio, animatedly talking to the phone.

“No, Eileen, I can't do it, please try to understand me…”

“I can't hurt him again! Sean got mad at me yesterday, I can't just take Vin there and act as if nothing happened!”

“I love him, and I want him to be happy. Sean deserves it, Eileen. I don't want to hurt him anymore.”

“Okay, I'll let you know if I change my mind.” she ended the phone call, sighing deeply, and leaning back on the soft chair, eyes closed, trying to relax herself.

"Call her back." suddenly came Sean's voice from the door, and he couldn't help but smile when he saw her start on the chair and turn to look at him. He was leaning casually against the doorframe, clad in his bathrobe and rubbing his hair with a towel.

“Sean…you should wipe yourself or you'll have a bad cold.” she answered, standing up.

She neared him, adjusting his bathrobe, and kissing his forehead, looking intently into his eyes, a little smile curving her lips.

“I love you when you're like this, you know? You look like a soaked puppy.”

"I'm your puppy, then." he replied, grinning. "You should be a good master and take care of this poor, soaked pup who's needing a cuddle really badly. Would you scratch my tummy, too?"

“Of course, love,” she laughed. “Do you want to be scratched here or…in the bedroom?”

Slowly, she opened his bathrobe, gently caressing his chest and tummy, leading him towards the chair where she was sitting before, sitting on his lap, nuzzling his neck.

“Why should I call her back?”

"Because I want you to do exactly what you feel like doing. Always." he replied gently, smiling. "Plus, you promised to scratch my tummy and this implies that you'll be very nice towards me. I must be nice in return."

“I don't want to hurt you Sean,” she whispered, gently kissing him on his lips.

Then she grinned and scratched his tummy.

“What kind of scratches do you want?” she asked him with a sensual voice.

"Mmmm...I'd say slow, resolute, preferably accompanied with a lot of kisses, and primarily... lower ." Sean grinned, then ducked his head to kiss her neck, placing both hands on Holly's buttocks and closing his eyes.

Slowly, she moved her hand to grasp his erection, and started to make his favourite moves, moaning when he nibbled her neck.

“You're a really lovely puppy, you know that?” she whispered to his ear, licking it.

"And you're really...a skilful master, indeed." he whispered back, his voice thick with lust, moving upwards to her chin and then to her mouth, to nibble and lick at her lower lip. In the meantime, he'd managed to undo the buttons of her jeans, and was then sliding with his hands underneath the garment to caress and knead the silky firmness of Holly's buttocks, moaning against her mouth.

Even if it wasn't easy, Holly was able to remove her jeans, and suddenly grabbed her tank top, tossing it aside.

Unable to wait further, she took hold of his chin, kissing him fully, their tongues entwined, she could feel his hands everywhere, and the only sound in the room was their panting.

They kissed fiercely for quite a while, and in the meantime Sean somehow managed to slip his arms off the bathrobe, wanting almost desperately to feel Holly's bare skin against his. Then he suddenly stopped, grasping her hands and holding them behind her back.

"If you don't make love to me right now, I'll be forced to take you on the desk." he panted, staring steadily at her. "I can't wait any more."

“Take me on the desk.” she murmured, closing her eyes and kissing him again.

A moment later, Sean was roughly pushing aside anything that happened to be on said desk to make some room for them, without breaking the kiss. He lifted Holly by firmly holding her buttocks, forcing her to sit on the desk, and pressed his body against hers, trembling with desire.

When she felt him entering her, Holly moaned against his neck, nibbling at him and grasping his buttocks with her hands, racking him lightly with her nails, pulling him all the way inside.

Sean couldn't help but moan at the sensation, and he quickly recaptured Holly's lips in a fierce kiss as he began to thrust forcefully into her, with bruising intensity. He was on fire from the keen pleasure he was experiencing, and almost didn't notice that Holly was, as a matter of fact, digging her nails into his skin with every thrust.

The said girl began to moan loudly at every shockwave of pleasure that filled her, nibbling not too gently at his shoulder, sucking at the tattooed skin with her mouth.

Just a few minutes later, he sent her over the edge, and she arched her back, clinging to him for dear life, crying his name over and over again, trembling helplessly in his arms.

Still panting and shuddering from the intensity of his climax, Sean held her tight, sinking his face into her hair. He was damp with sweat, his legs hurt for the effort and he was struggling to regain his breath, but it didn't matter. He loved that beautiful, trembling creature with all of his heart. When he eventually managed to regain a bit of composure, he retreated enough to look into Holly's eyes, and grinned.

"I think I'll need another shower."

“If you promise me to be a good boy, I'll come along with you…but don't even think about a second round, I'm totally spent now!” she chuckled, giving him a quick kiss on the lips.

"So am I," he chuckled back. "Therefore I swear that I'll be perfectly content with just a nice backrub. We'll think about the second round tonight."

They were still washing the dishes when someone rang the bell. Knowing that it would probably be Vin, Sean immediately rushed to the door, wiping his hands with a dishcloth, and opened the door.

"Hey." he greeted the other man. "Come in. Fancy a coffee or something?"

Raising an eyebrow, Vin looked at the older man with a confused expression on his face, but decided to pretend that everything was ok.

“Yes, I'd really like a coffee, thank you.” he politely answered, walking towards the kitchen.

“Vin!” Holly greeted her friend, giving him a quick kiss on his cheek.

“Please, have a seat, if you're not in hurry we could take a mug of coffee and later we could check that article, what do you think?”.

“I've got nothing to do for the whole afternoon,” he smiled at her, sitting down on a chair.

“So I'm at your mercy, ma'am.”

For his part, Sean chose to ignore the last sentence, thus ignoring the twinge of jealousy that seemed to gnaw at his very guts. Without looking at Vin, he somehow managed to give his Holly a warm smile. He was an actor, after all . "Would you take care of the coffee, love? You're much better at it than I am, I'll finish with the dishes."

“Sure!” she smiled back, and started a pot of hot coffee.

“Sean? Do you need some help with those dishes?” a grinning Vin asked then, eyeing the man.

Sean turned to look at him, an eyebrow raised, as if trying to get the meaning of the phrase. Then he shook his head lightly, turning his attentions back to said dishes.

"I'll manage." he said politely. "Thank you anyway."

When Holly put the mugs of coffee on the table, she took one and sat on the couch, followed by Vin.

They were laughing, remembering the old times during the XXX filming in Prague.

“I just couldn't imagine why you were walking around with a towel around your waist, soaked…” she was laughing.

“There wasn't any hot water! I just went down and told the director, and then I went back to my room!” he chuckled.

“Oh, Vin! You're incredible!”

After a quick glance at the two, Sean lowered his eyes and resumed his reading, saying nothing. He was sitting by the window with a movie script on his lap, holding his mug of coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other, apparently the epitome of the English peacefulness itself. But deep, deep inside, he was struggling to fight the urge to just kick Vin out of the house and thus send away the one person that was threatening his happiness with Holly. He did nothing, though. He was an actor, after all .

“Sean?” asked the girl then.

“Would you like to come with us in the studio to check this article?”

Vin leaned casually against the doorframe, waiting for Holly, stretching lazily his muscles.

Sean nodded, getting on his feet, and stubbed the cigarette in the nearby ashtray before catching up with Holly and give her a quick kiss on the lips.

"What do you think 'bout this?" he asked with a grin while climbing up the stairs at her side, handing her the script. "Another bad guy. Seems interesting, though."

“I'll read it tonight, and then I'll give you a quick review.” she grinned back, smiling at Vin.

The said man was following them without enthusiasm. He was acting, too, and he had to be a perfect guest, even if the only thing he wanted was to punch Sean again and kiss Holly senseless.

"I thought we had other plans for tonight!" Sean protested playfully as they entered the studio, chuckling as he leaned to pinch affectionately Holly's cheek and then kiss it.

“Ha-ha-ha.” was Vin's answer at that remark, and he found himself looking at the older man with disgust.

He was trying to seem polite at Holly's eyes, but he was just acting, and it was clear to Vin that Sean didn't like him.

On his part, Sean just smiled, shrugging, and settled down on the armchair near the desk, handing Vin a pack of cigarettes.

"Fancy a fag?" he asked nonchalantly, and still smiling with the single purpose of irritate the other. Though he'd never have said it out loud, he was quite enjoying this sort of personal vengeance.

“No, thank you.” he replied.

“Holly? Do you remember when we had that shower together?”

At his words, the girl suddenly blushed, eyeing Sean.

“Yes…we were drunk…” she answered.

“Yeah…I should remember to get you drunk one of those nights.” he grinned, sitting at her side.

“That's why I never drink with you.” she smiled wickedly, taking the article.
"I'm going out." Sean then announced bluntly, heading for the stairs. Once at the door he turned to look at Holly, and added: "You know where the booze is, in case you need some assistance." After an obviously false smile, he stalked away, closing the door behind him.

It was evening when they finished. Holly tried to phone to Sean, but his cell phone was off so she left him a note on the kitchen table, asking him if he could go to pick her up at the hotel.

She needed to talk to Eileen, and she didn’t want to come back home with Vin.

Once at the hotel, she talked a lot with her co-worker about some of the changes they had made in her articles.

Vin went to his room after a quick kiss on her cheek, and in the hall, the girl met Josh.

“Hey you!”

"Hey sweetie!" Josh smiled, hugging her tight and loudly smooching her cheek in an endearing way. "How are you?"

“I’m fine, and you?” she asked, smiling.

“I’m waiting for Sean, I hope he will come and take me home, I don’t want to call Vin, again…”

"If Sean won't, then I will." he replied, smiling gently. "Did you to fight again?"

“Yesterday we fought and he got mad at me…” she told him.

“Today Vin was at home and he went out. His cell phone is off and I don’t know if he’ll come here and get me…”

Some moments later, she sighed deeply, turning to look at his friend.

“Josh…he asked me to marry him.”

"Oh." Josh mumbled, evidently caught off-guard by the revelation and searching for something to say. "And... Well, did you accept the proposal?"

“I told him that I need time to think,” she answered, sighing. “But the real problem is that I don’t know what to do. I love him, but…there’s Vin…and…I don’t want to hurt Sean…it’s so complicated…”

"I know." Josh sighed, dragging her into his arms to comfort her. "I suggest you to take your time to think about it...and just think about your own happiness, nothing else."

“I will suffer if I hurt Sean. And the same will happen with Vin…Oh, Josh…this has never happened to me…and I really care about Sean…he’s so important to me.” she murmured, closing her eyes at that contact.

"It'll be all right." he whispered soothingly, cradling her into his arms. "I'm sure. You'll make the right decision for yourself, even if now it all seems so hard...just trust yourself Holly, trust yourself for once. And trust your friends, too. We'll always be here for you. Always."

He didn't let go of her when he saw Sean approaching, but smiled almost imperceptibly to him. The older man merely sighed in response, and tiredly ran a hand across his face as he leaned against the wall, looking at his feet.

When Josh released her, Holly turned and saw Sean.

Then she gave a quick kiss on her friend’s face and looked at him while he walked away.

Sighing, she neared Sean, and without a word, she embraced him tightly.

“You mean so much to me Sean…even if you don’t know it…and…I’m sorry if I always make you angry, I know it’s hard for you. It’s complicated for me too…”

"I know." he mumbled, fighting to swallow the lump in his throat. "I'm the one who's sorry, Holly. I'm behaving like a total asshole. I'm sorry. So sorry..."

“No, you shouldn’t. You’re human, Sean, and I know that when we’re hurt sometimes we act in a bad way. I love you. That’s all that matters to me. You did nothing wrong…” she whispered to him, nuzzling her face against his neck.

He sighed, inhaling deeply her familiar scent, and closed his eyes. "I love you. You can't even imagine how much..." he murmured, almost clinging to her.

“Let’s go home…” she murmured then, leading him towards the car.

Vin was leaning casually on his bed, looking some television, when someone knocked at the door.

That someone appeared to be Josh.

“Hey!” he greeted him.

Then suddenly frowned.

“Did you fight with Eileen?”

Josh shook his head, and sat on the edge of the bed. Then he couldn't help but fidget and shift uneasily, sighing deeply. How could he say that to his friend? He didn't dare to imagine his possible reaction. "There's something that you probably should know." he began hesitantly, without looking at Vin.

Vin sat at his side, frowning again.

“Problems?” he forced himself to ask, even if he didn’t want to know the answer.

"Yeah, problems." Josh sighed, feeling suddenly older. And sad, almost unbearably sad. Not for the news itself, but rather because he was going to hurt Vin. And he knew it, but sooner or later someone would have had to tell him anyway.

"Sean asked Holly to marry him." he abruptly heard himself say.

The bed shifted.

Josh raised his head just in time to see Vin rush out of the room, and then there was panic.

"Vin!" he called out, sprinting to the door in an attempt to catch up with him, but it was too late.

Vanished.

"Holy fuckin' shit." he growled through clenched teeth, while running towards his room to take the keys of his jeep. "Shit, shit, shit."

Vin walked out, climbing into his car, and started it, driving faster and faster, barely noticing that Josh was trying to follow him.

She left me.

I’ve lost her forever. It was just a dream, a wonderful fuckin’ dream. She wasn’t in love with me but with Sean.

It was clear to everyone but me. I’m an asshole and I should just forget her, I can have all the girls I want.

Yeah, but why it hurts so much?

Then he pulled out his cigarettes, and while he was attempting to light one the car swerved a little, but he paid it no attention.

Josh was now trying to call him on the cell phone, but he wasn’t in a talking mood.

He just wanted to stay alone and go faster and faster and faster.

While he was trying to switch off the phone, the car swerved again, a little more than before, but he just laughed.

It wouldn’t be too bad to die like this.

To stop all of this fucking suffering. To turn off his brain.

Josh was almost catching him, so Vin just stepped on the gas, going faster than before.

He knew how it felt to be out of control, not to know what was going to happen next or when it is all going to come crashing down.

This was how he felt every goddamned day of his life for three fuckin’ years.

A moment later he dropped his cigarette, and cursing, he leaned down to find it, searching the floorboard at his feet.

Then there was just a big crash, and he heard someone scream his name, but everything went black.

The jeep abruptly stopped in the middle of the road, and Josh rushed outside as if possessed. He desperately tried to open the door of Vin's crushed car, but it was no use, it was stuck. And Vin's face and shirt were covered with blood.

"Don't you fuckin' die on me!" Josh almost screamed, reaching into the car through the broken glass to feel if he was still breathing, not paying any attention to the shreds of glass scratching and cutting down his arm as he did so.

He was breathing. Faintly, but he was still breathing.

Josh took a few deep, ragged breaths, ordering himself to stay calm and not just pass out from the shock, while reaching for his cellular phone with trembling, bloodstained hands.

Sean literally jumped on the bed when the phone rang, and flashed a quick glance at the alarm clock. 3:47. Growling in despair he reached for the receiver, and sighed.

"Yeah?" he mumbled sleepily, but his annoyance soon turned into horror, and his eyes grew wide. "Christ. When?"

"Yeah, I'm comin', I'll be there in ten minutes."

Once thrown the receiver back in place he jumped out of the bed to retrieve his clothes and looked at Holly, who was staring at him as if waiting for an explanation.

"On your feet, get dressed. Major shit happened."

“What happened Sean?” she asked, suddenly worried by his face, getting up and grabbing a pair of jeans and a shirt.

"Vin." he mumbled, slipping on his t-shirt. "He had an accident. Quite a bad one. Hurry."

“W-what?” she muttered with a trembling voice, her mouth suddenly dry and her face pale.

She got dressed immediately, and followed him into the car.

There she allowed herself to sob quietly, trembling onto her seat.

It couldn’t be possible.

Her Vin couldn’t leave her this way.

They rushed to the hospital without exchanging another word, and once they had arrived, Sean literally drag Holly to the waiting room, his face grave and strained. Holly, on her part, seemed almost apathetic as she let him pull her along like a rag doll. Some guys of the crew were there. The director, too, was there, stalking back and forth, cursing and smoking a cigarette. Josh and Eileen were sitting in a corner, hugging tightly each other. Sean noticed that his right arm was bandaged. And he was sobbing, his cheeks streaked with tears.

The doctor came out from the operating room with a worried frown.

“He has got a skull trauma that is pressing on his brain. We are doing our best. He’s got three broken ribs, but that’s not a problem. I’m worried about his brain. He’s in coma now. I’m sure he can listen to us, and he need to fight to come back to us. I suggest that someone very close to him should stay there and talk to him. To talk is important, he needs human contact.” the doctor explained, and before he went, he concluded with a phrase that make Holly freeze.

“We don’t know if his brain is damaged, so we don’t know what will happen when he’ll open his eyes again.”

That did it.

Those words started to echo in her head, and Holly fell limp to the floor, hitting her head.

Sean was there when she opened her eyes. He heard a noise coming from the bed and immediately reached for Holly's hand, leaning towards her.

"Holly..." he whispered worriedly, "God, you frightened me to death. How do you feel?"

“Dead…I’m feeling as dead…” she just whispered with a raspy voice, a sharp pain coming from her head.

"Take some rest." he muttered, standing. "I'm goin' to check on him. "Stay in bed."

“Sean! Wait…I want to go and see him…please, take me there, the doctor said it was important!” she almost cried, trying to stand up, hissing in pain as she felt again the pain at her head.

"All right, all right. Just don't fret, okay?" he sighed, taking her into his arms to lead her out of the room. Josh and Eileen were there with Vin. She was sitting next to the bed, her head hung low, while Josh was asleep on a nearby armchair, covered with a blanket.

"Hey." Eileen greeted them. "He's stable. And they gave Josh some Valium or something, he won't probably wake up until tomorrow, so I'm staying here for the night."

“No, Eileen…I want to stay here…I need to, please.” she almost pleaded, clinging to Sean, as if needing his vital force.

"Come and sit here then." the other girl replied, standing. "But I'll stay anyway... I can't leave Josh here."

Sean guided Holly to the chair and exchanged a glance with Eileen, sighing. "I need a coffee." he murmured, walking out of the room without turning back.

Holly sat down and looked at Vin, shaking her head.

Vin looked almost angelic in his sleep, but seeing him surrounded by strange machines was almost too much for her.

She took his hand and caressed it quietly, looking longingly into his eyes.

“What happened to Josh?”

"He was there." Eileen replied, looking at her lover. "When the ambulance arrived, he was sitting on the ground next to Vin's car. Shocked. But he just won't talk about it... I think he needs time."

“Josh?” asked Holly, confused and shocked.

“So…he called the ambulance…he saved his life.” she murmured, gently caressing Vin’s shaved head.

"Yes, he called the ambulance." Eileen nodded, sitting on a chair next to Holly, and looked at Vin with concern. "And then he called me, raving about some car crash and stuff. At first I thought he was the one involved, he seemed to be out of his mind."

“That’s why he was hurt?” Holly asked to her friend, not daring to look away from Vin, as if her glance could wake him up.

She just hoped he could feel her presence, the way she was touching him, the way she was holding his hand as if trying to keep him there.

Eileen merely nodded, and sighed deeply as she leaned back into her chair, praying that Vin would make it through the night.

In the meantime, Sean was wandering across the wide and empty corridors, sipping his coffee. His thoughts always went back to Holly. He couldn't help but remember the look in her eyes when she saw Vin lying motionless in bed. He couldn't help but remember her reaction when the doctor said that Vin's brain was probably damaged.

She loved Vin. There was no use in deluding himself. She loved Vin more that she could ever love him.

He stopped in front of Vin's room, and had to close his eyes for a moment when he peered through the glass. Holly was leaning towards the bed, holding his hand and talking to him, with such affection that the mere sight made Sean's heart skip a beat.

Three days had passed, and Holly had not come back home.

The doctors had put another little bed into the room, so she was now sleeping at his side.

Peter, Vin’s twin, had come the day before, with his wife and daughters, and she had finally left them alone, coming back to him when the man left the room.

She was losing weight and was pale and tired, but the only thing that mattered was that Vin had to wake up.

“You know, when you’ll wake up, there are a lot of things I want to do with you,” she was whispering at him.

“I think I’ve always loved you, even if I wasn’t able to tell you…and I miss you a lot. Wake up, big boy…I need you so much…”

When she raised her head, she noticed Sean looking at her through the glass, and called him, asking him to enter.

The man did as he was asked, and, once inside the room, he walked towards Holly, stopping a few footsteps away and looking at her.

"You should get some rest." he said quietly, "And eat something, perhaps."

Shrugging, she looked at him, trying to smile.

“I’m not tired and…not hungry, but… thank you…Are...Are you ok?”

Sean nodded and cleared his throat, feeling strangely awkward and out of place. It felt almost like he was violating their privacy. Weird.

"I'm all right." he managed to mutter, forcing himself to hint a smile. "Why shouldn't I be?"

Smiling, she took hold of his hand, squeezing it lightly.

“I know you, Sean. And I know it’s difficult for you. In the beginning, I thought you wouldn’t let me stay here with him…”

"It was your decision to make, not mine." he said then, regretting it immediately. He ran a hand across his face, silently cursing himself, and sighed. "Sorry. I need to get out of here. I just can't take this."

Leaving Vin’s hand, she stood to reach him, but he was gone, and she collapsed on the chair, her face hidden in her hands, sighing deeply.

It was not right.

She didn’t like to hurt him, and she didn’t like to feel like this.

Split in two; loving both of them.

That evening, she was still at Vin’s side. Peter was gone, and she was alone. Again.

Talking to Vin was a habit now, and she was caressing his shaved head, kissing his temple, when his eyes opened.

She couldn’t help but scream, calling the doctors, still not believing that it was happening.

The nurses asked her to go out, and she wandered alone in the large corridors, her cheeks strained with tears, until she saw Sean.

Not wanting another fight, she just turned back and started to walk away.

"Holly," he called, putting down his coffee and standing to reach her. "We have to talk."

“Sean,” she whispered, her eyes lowered to the floor.

“Not now, please. I can’t bear it. I can’t bear another fight with you. I know that I’m hurting you, I know it very well and I’m sorry…I’m so sorry…but now I don’t know if he’s the same, if his brain has been damaged…please…”

"I'm not here to fight, and I don't want to fight." he replied, staring at her. "Can we talk as two fully grown people would, for once? I'm just trying to allow you to live your life, nothing more."

Finally looking at his face, she nodded, taking his hand and leading him toward two chairs in a secluded place.

“I’m sorry...”

"Don't be."

They remained silent for a while. Sean was struggling to fight back the tears, his eyes stung terribly and he didn't dare to look at her for she would have surely noticed the way he was feeling. Empty. He was feeling thoroughly empty, save for the dull ache that oppressed his chest and almost hindered him to breathe.

"I'm goin' home." he said, suddenly, his voice faltering a little.

She knew that her lower lip was quivering like a little child but it didn’t matter.

“It’s…over, isn’t it?” she asked, knowing the answer, not daring to touch him, even if her heart ached and she would have embraced him tightly, to feel his solid chest against hers and to breathe his scent one last time.

“Can…can I touch you, Sean?”

He closed his eyes at the request, and lightly shook his head. Two tears ran down his cheeks, tracing a shiny path to his chin, but he didn't bother to wipe them away.

"Please don't..." he whispered in a trembling voice, almost pleading her, and still staring at the ground. "Don't make this even more painful, I beg of you..." He was crying, now, and he didn't care at all. He just couldn't help it. No need to feel ashamed then, at least not tonight.

"I don't know how to let you go, Holly."

Staring at the ground, Holly was sobbing, too.

“I know that you’re probably regretting every single moment you’ve spent with me, Sean. But I’ll never do it. It has been wonderful to share my life with you and I’ll never forget you…never.”

All Sean could do was nod at the statement, for he wasn't too sure to be still able to speak. He said nothing for a while, trying hard to regain his usual composure and wiping his reddened eyes now and then. He eventually stood, still avoiding her gaze, and fumbled into his pocket for the keys.

"I really must go." he murmured huskily. "Take care, Holly."

He didn’t give her the chance to reply, and she stood there, looking at his back while he walked away, wiping her eyes.

About an hour later, a nurse went to call her.

Vin was asking to see her.

The doctor explained that the accident hadn’t damaged his brain, and he would have been able to go out of the hospital in less than a month.

When she entered his room, seeing his eyes finally on her, she couldn’t help but cry, running to his bed, and taking his hand.

“Hey…” he smiled, his voice raspy. “Don’t cry for me, I’ll be fine.”

“I missed you so much…” she whispered, squeezing his hand and caressing his cheek.

At this desired contact, Vin closed his eyes, forgetting the aching pain in his head and body.

“Where’s…he?”

“He’s gone. Sean is leaving for London…we…it was over.” she explained.

“I love you, Holly. I knew you were there with me and I...dreamt that you loved me, too.” he whispered, taking her hand to his lips.

“Oh, Vin…I love you…and…now I’m yours, there’s nothing that could divide us…I’ll be at your side for as long as you want me.” she smiled, wiping her eyes.

“So you’ll have to plan to stay around for a while, because I think I’ll never let you go.” he smiled back.

With that, she leaned to him, brushing his lips with hers, merely caressing him, relishing that sweet moment that she had dreamed for so long.

“I love you…” she whispered onto his lips, kissing him gently, caressing his head.

“I love you too. Please…come to my home. I don’t want to lose you again…”he proposed to her, once they parted.

“Of course I’ll come with you…” she smiled, almost crying again.
