No Sun Shines for me

Chapter 3

Oh beautiful day, Faramir thought as he strode across the corridor, carrying a huge tray filled to the edge with all sorts of delicacies. Slices of bread, still warm and spreading a delicious, fragrant scent just like the almond cookies and the apple pie. A small bowl filled with blackberry jam, another small one with tender butter, a larger one for the fresh fruit. Three cups, fresh milk in a pitcher and spiced tea in the pot.

He was starving. And his arms were starting to ache, due to the weight they were bearing. He halted in front of Boromir's door, grunting in distress when the burden was relied on his left arm alone, the other reaching to grab the handle.

The curtains were still drawn close, shutting out the outside world and the sunlight, the only noises in the room being slow, deep breaths. Faramir smiled to himself as he lay the tray on the table next to the couch, and walked to the window in order to open the curtains and let the sun in.

A humming sound was all he obtained from a quite sleepy Nienna, deeply buried under the heavy covers in an attempt to chase the chilly air of the morning.

She had been able to sleep just a couple of hours that night, Boromir being particularly turned on from a fantasy he had had about her steeped into the tub. He had showed her how much the gondorians have to offer not one but four times, before collapsing exhausted and falling asleep. That's why she was in major need of rest that morning.

All of a sudden the room seemed freezing, and she extended an hand to set the covers over her head. Just to discover with harassment that they had been pulled away. She didn't need to open her eyes to know who was the rascal.

"Faramir..." she almost whined, trying to snuggle closer to Boromir, searching for some heat.

"Breakfast's here" the young man replied merrily, leaning onto the bed in order to nibble playfully at the back of Nienna's neck. "Get up!"

On his part, Boromir merely opened one eye to see what the fuss was about. Eye that closed again but a moment later, as he muttered something unintelligible and rolled over, much to Faramir's dismay.

"You're hopeless" he groaned, shaking his head as he walked to the fireplace. "Both of you."

"I've slept just a couple of hours it would be good from you to show some mercy" Nienna then complained, sighing and rubbing her hands on her eyes, in a vane attempt to drive away the slumber.

She was never in a good mood when she wasn't able to sleep, and that morning there wasn't an exception.

Standing up, the stark naked woman walked to the armchair where she had left her clothes the evening before, and she began to dress, the pout still on her face.

In the meantime a very sleepy Boromir had managed to drag himself up, and was now sitting on the edge of the bed and rubbing his eyes.

"Oh believe me, I know." Faramir replied, shifting his gaze back to Nienna after a quick glance at his disheveled and slumberous brother, "I've slept a couple of hours as well, since of all things you two are not very silent."

Saying that he smirked, and raised an eyebrow in a very suggestive way before get getting back to his business, squatted before the wide fireplace.

"Poor, poor Faramir" came Boromir's amused voice from the bed. "But you shouldn't whine, since you've most probably spent the whole time touching yourself.."

Faramir said nothing in response, nor turned to look at the other, but merely cleared his throat. And blushed quite fiercely.

Exchanging a glance and a grin with Nienna, Boromir eventually stood up, stretching, and walked near his little brother, crouching as well in order to hug him from behind.

"Naughty Faramir.." he chuckled, "I knew it.."

Nienna was settling her boots in place, and she raised her eyes just for a moment to look at the two brothers before standing up and walking to the little table in the middle of the room. She didn't want them to understand how upset she felt everytime they were together, always afraid that Faramir could take Boromir away from her.

Foolish and insane. That's what she was.

She should have known better. Boromir wasn't hers. He would never be hers. He was Faramir's and he'll always be.

Better to think about the whole thing as something funny. Some good sex shared with a friend. Nothing more.

Sitting at the table, she didn't utter a single sound, pretending to be utterly busy with the breakfast and turning her back to them.

Once he'd gotten a proper good morning kiss Faramir went to sit with her. Boromir had in the meantime vanished into the bathroom in order to attend a call of nature, carrying his clothes in a bundle under his arm.

"Good morning" Faramir smiled, leaning over the table to kiss Nienna's cheek in an affectionate gesture. "Hungry?"

"Good morning" she said, hinting a smile while spreading some butter onto a slice of bread.

And this had to be her rival? The enemy ?

Of all things, Nienna wasn't going to be proud of all her foolish fears. Faramir was kind and sweet to everyone, and he had never complained about her presence there, even if in fact he wasn't able to sleep alone with his brother anymore.

Yet she knew that the bond between them was strong, and she wondered if one day she would have been able to have something even just similar in its intensity with Boromir.

Sometimes she fancied if she would have been able to do something to separate them. But the shame promptly followed, and she always found herself unable to look in his eyes.

What a stupid weakling I am....

"Yes, I'm hungry. What should we do today? Some more training with the recruits?"

"More training, yes. But not with the recruits today" Faramir answered, pouring himself some tea and then picking a slice of apple pie.

"I think we'll go somewhere else, just the three of us, since it's such a beautiful day. It would be a pity to spend it indoors."

Just then Boromir, now dressed and a little more awake, exited the bathroom and took his place at Nienna's side at the small table, facing Faramir. He leaned to kiss her on the lips, laying a hand on her thigh for a moment, before taking the cup that his brother was handing him.

Still upset from those thoughts which were haunting her night and day, Nienna just smiled, without looking in his eyes, nibbling at the bread without much enthusiasm.

She wasn't hungry anymore.

"I think I'll go down and prepare my horse then. I do not want to waste time.."

Faramir stopped chewing and raised his head to look at her at such words, but said nothing. Boromir frowned.

"What's the matter? Did you two fight?" he wanted to know, setting the cup aside and then glancing at his brother, who shook his head in response.

"N-no..." was her reply, as she put down her bread, hurrying to wipe her hands while standing up, keeping her eyes low.

"I do not want to waste time, that's all" she then explained again, walking to the door, now eager to spend some time alone, vexed even by that closeness and intimacy they shared.

Fool.

"I'll wait for you in the courtyard".

And a moment later she was stalking away, sighing deeply and cursing her damned selfishness.

Less than ten minutes later the two brothers were exiting the King's House, side by side, Faramir looking quite pensive while Boromir was lacing his cloak and staring worriedly at Nienna as they approached her. The three of them then headed to the tunnel and to the lower level, and only once in the stables Boromir took Nienna aside, since Faramir was already busy saddling his horse.

"Are you well?" the warrior demanded, his large hand reaching to stroke her hair and his grey eyes staring intently at her face, as if trying to read her very thoughts. "Have I done or said something wrong?"

"It's not you, Boromir" she said softly, hinting a smile.

His affectionate tone and the way he seemed truly concerned had stirred something undefined deep inside of her. And it was even worse.

What could she say?

I'm beginning to envy him?

I know you'll never love me as you love him?

"The only one to blame is...me. Me and my selfishness. Don't worry I'll be fine soon. Let's go to the horses, right?"

Boromir nodded, although he wasn't truly convinced that she was actually that fine. He could see that there was something wrong, and for some reason he was also sure that she wouldn't tell him anything else, no matter how much he would insist. So he just stroked her cheek and hinted a smile, before walking past her to pick up the saddle and take care of his horse.

Sighing again, the woman merely walked to her horse, brush in hand, trying to distract herself by grooming him.

It was just an hour later that the three of them finally exited the great gates, trotting outside. But she still was closed in herself, without uttering a single word, looking at their backs while they rode side by side.

Cursing again and again her inner voice that was driving her insane.

It can't go on like that. It can't.

The ride was oddly quiet that day, Faramir being very silent and seemingly even more pensive than he usually was, Boromir trotting at his side and turning back once in a while to see whether Nienna was fine. She was very silent, too, but it didn't worry him too much. He just assumed that she wasn't in a sociable mood that day, and hoped that a bit of good training would help to pick up her spirits. It usually did.

They wanted to go to the little clearing near to the river where they usually went to relax, a place where anyone could spot them.

Nienna dismounted and fastened the reins of her horse to a tree, once arrived, giving her back to the brothers, the pout still in place as the aching pain she was feeling deep inside.

She desperately needed something to distract herself with, or else she would have just abandoned trying and forget everything about that cursed relationship.

You should have known better.

"Well. Here we are. What now?"

"Now?" Boromir asked, looking up at her. He was already outstretched on the grass, smiling and seemingly utterly relaxed, arms crossed behind the head.. "Now we could either nap here for a while, have a nice walk in the woods.. or draw or swords. The choice is upon you, my fair lady."

"Nap?" she chuckled helplessly, turning to look at him with an amused expression on her face.

"You've just awakened, do you really want to sleep again? Why don't you stand up and let me see what are your abilities with the blade, milord?"

"You overtire me" he complained, smirking. A moment later, though, he was already standing and the smirk had been replaced by a faintly challenging expression, as he unlaced his cloak and readied himself.

Faramir was sitting on the grass, arms propped on his knees and back laid against a large tree trunk, looking at them.

"Ready?"

"I'm always ready for you" she said with a little mischievous grin, unsheathing her sword and settling in place.

Her arm was now trained enough to bear the weight of the heavy blade. When she had started her training she was barely able to practice for more than one hour, and later her muscles ached terribly. But she hadn't given up and little by little had learned how to ward and fight, invigorating her whole body. And she was even having fun for her trainer, Boromir, who was the best.

"I thought you already knew that..."

"Oh aye, I was starting to suspect.." the warrior grinned, while drawing his broadsword. He took a few steps backwards then, and whirled the weapon menacingly a couple of times as if to warn her, even if he was still looking pretty amused and the grin was unwavering.

"Let's practice a little over that parry and riposte thing, shall we?" he demanded, "No feints this time, we've had enough of that. I'll lunge, you'll parry and then attack me back as quickly as you can. Right?"

"Right" she said enthusiastically, her eyes now filled with adoration for him, even if she hadn't realized it, yet. But there was something else. A strong determination which was an evident proof that she was eager to learn.

It was but a moment, and without any further ado Boromir made his move, finding her ready to parry. Nienna crossed the blades and pulled his down with great effort, already panting but determined to learn.

And then attacked, her eyes still fixed in his.

Boromir dodged, sustaining her gaze, and his blade stopped her with a crisp clash. He held completely still for a few moments then, swords still crossed, until a faint smile curved his lips and he lunged abruptly, without any forewarning, to attack back.

Cut, slash, strike, thrust. And, to his utter delight, Nienna managed to parry each and every one of his hits, no matter how hard and fast they were.

"That's good." Faramir commented from his tree, grinning. "I bet she'll even manage to beat her master, sooner or later."

Now smiling proudly, Boromir nodded in response. "That's good indeed. She's getting better day by day."

"No.." she smiled awkwardly, heavily panting but still holding the sword despite all.

If before starting her training the bow was her favourite weapon, for quite a while she was preferring the blade, and she was secretly saving some money to buy one just for her. Faramir in fact had helped her to choose one from the armoury, but it wasn't the same.

She wanted one similar to Boromir's, and it was quite expensive. Not something you buy each and every day, that's for sure.

Her eyes lingered in the grey ones for quite some time, clearly pleased for he really seemed proud of her, feeling the irresistible urge to hug him fiercely and kiss the breath our of him.

"I'll never beat him...he's too much for me..."

"In that case I wouldn't mind getting beaten" Boromir smiled, raising an eyebrow amusedly before he sheathed his sword. Then he unbuckled the belt, letting it fall carelessly on the grass, and started to undo the clasps of his leather vest. Much to Faramir's surprise, who exchanged a puzzled glance with Nienna before shifting his gaze back to his brother.

"What are you doing?"

"Planning to have a nice bath in the river" Boromir grinned, "We'll practice more later. Who's with me?"

Grinning back, the woman unhurriedly started to unlace her tunic, too, throwing away the sword and walking near him, her gaze never wavering.

By the time she had reached him, she was half naked, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, gently biting at his chin.

"How can you manage to have me undone just...just looking at me or undressing yourself? The whole situation is becoming really serious..."

"Is it now?" he whispered, while tugging impatiently at the lacings of his leggings and staring straight in her eyes. He had to struggle not to kiss her. It would not be wise, since they would have probably ended up having no bath at all, and it had been too long since he'd last bathed in the river. Too long indeed.

"Take your tunic off as well, Nienna."

Then upon glancing at the surroundings, just to be sure that they were sheltered enough from prying eyes, he noticed with some disappointment that Faramir didn't seem willing to follow them, and was still sitting there unmoving. Not good.

"Won't you undress?"

The younger man said nothing at first, but merely glanced briefly at him and then at Nienna, before to hint a smile. "I don't know."

"Undress." Boromir replied, raising an eyebrow in a menacing fashion. "Unless you want me to drag you in the river with all your clothes on."

"No, no, thank you" the other smirked, standing up, "I'll rather take them off."

"Good."

The smile on Nienna's face was not so bright at the proposal, but she fought the urge to close her tunic and run away. She had no right to meddle, and she knew that from the beginning.

Without turning to look at them, she slowly undressed and walked to the river, repeating to herself that she didn't care about what they did.

Who cares? I know better than fall in love with Boromir.

The other two followed her quietly, Faramir ridding himself of his garments along the way. When Boromir took Nienna's hand and entered the river, growling his despair due to the freezing water, he was still on the bank and struggling with the lacings of his leggings.

"Is it cold?"

"Very" Boromir replied, literally clinging to Nienna in search of extra warmth. The other gave them a glance from the shore, stopping his undressing.

"I might have changed my mind."

Boromir growled again. "Faramir.. on the count of three I'm going to come there and take you by force."

A flash of interest flickered through the young man's features at such words. "Take me by force?" he repeated, grinning, and causing the other to grin as well despite the biting cold.

"You know what I mean."

"Indeed." Faramir chuckled while slipping off his breeches, finally, and much to his brother's appeasement. He nodded, after another quick glance at the other, and before smiling at Nienna and tightening the embrace. "Are you cold, little one?"

"Just a little bit..." she said softly, hugging him back and gently kissing his shoulder, relishing the heat of his body which provided some comfort to the coldness of the water. Yet the softness of his tone stirred something deep inside of her.

Was it possible that he cared about her, someway?

Her inner voice, kept on telling her that he was behaving as if he was in love with her. And that she loved him back.

But the reason refuted this hypothesis. What an absurdity. Boromir loved Faramir, it was obvious, and she had to remember her place for one day, when those two would have faced the reality of their feelings, her presence wouldn't be welcome, anymore.

Even if the mere thought made her feel sick and thoroughly sad.

When Faramir eventually braced himself and managed to enter the water, even if shivering and clattering his teeth, his brother kissed Nienna's cheek affectionately and turned in order to look at him, an utterly amused expression on his face.

"I wouldn't laugh yet, if I were you."

Boromir's grin widened. "I'm trembling." he mocked, chuckling, and while one of his arms was still wound around Nienna's shoulder, the other wrapped around Faramir's as soon as the other was near enough. The young man smiled in response, doing his best to hug his brother back and to hug Nienna at the same time.

"I'm freezing."

"No, you are not. Try to hug us tighter."

Faramir promptly complied.

"Not this tighter!"

"Planning to choke me?" Nienna chuckled, patently amused despite all.

Even if deep inside of her the guilt was gnawing at her very guts, for she was jealous of Faramir. The one who had always been so kind and lovely to her. He had never complained about her staying in Boromir's room. Not once.

And Nienna cared a lot about him, too.

Without further ado, she tried to hug him, too, kissing his forehead in an affectionate gesture.

"It'll be better soon, fear not. I'm already feeling better..."

"He's already feeling way better, I'd say.." Boromir muttered, glancing downwards for a moment and then looking at his brother again, who hinted a mischievous little smile in response. He said or did nothing, though, but only tightened the embrace slightly and pressed his groin onto Boromir's hip in a very suggestive fashion, causing the other to raise an eyebrow just as eloquently.

Then the warrior was shifting his gaze to Nienna, the faintest trace of a smile on his lips. She didn't seem overly pleased, to say the truth. But he could understand Faramir all too well, for since her arrival he'd been indeed neglecting his little brother's needs. Anyway the young man had never complained about the matter, even if in fact they'd never had the chance to lay together during those few months.

"That's good" was the only thing she managed to say, smiling with great effort and then putting her head onto Boromir's shoulder, knowing that he couldn't see her face properly in that position. And it was better that way.

She wasn't sure he would be pleased to discover how upset she was, jealousy already burning through her veins.

"I'm going to wash my hair" Nienna then said, hinting another strained smile and kissing Boromir's shoulder, feeling as if she was indeed the outsider between them. "Why don't you cherish your little brother for a while? It seems he's in major need of cuddles today..."

Boromir's answer was a nod, followed by a small smile. He took hold of her arm, though, when she let go of him and tried to draw back, in order to kiss her lips and then her forehead. Faramir watched the exchange with a smile, head tilted to the side, and followed Nienna with his gaze when she moved farther to wash her hair. Then he was winding both arms around his brother's shoulders, and claiming his mouth in a heated kiss as the other hugged him back.

Now that she had been left to herself, Nienna turned to have a better view of the couple, her eyes watery for some unknown reason.

Beautiful. They looked so beautiful together, and probably she would have never looked that good with Boromir.

She couldn't blame Faramir for being so excited to be with his lover alone for a while, for in fact she had meddled for too much time. Yet she wasn't able to just turn her back and vanish into the night, letting them live their life without further difficulties. For some reason she couldn't bear the thought of losing Boromir.

What a lame and naive thing it was, for it was glaring that he didn't love her as much as he loved his brother. A pity.

It was just when she saw Boromir's hands vanish under the water that she understood she couldn't bear any more than that, and she silently exited the river, walking onto the soft carpet of grass to retrieve one of the towels in her leather bag.

It didn't take long before Faramir, usually the calmer and more restrained one, literally dragged his brother to the riverbank, his mouth now fastened to the other's neck. In no time at all Boromir was flat on his back, one of his hands reaching to grab a fistful of Faramir's golden locks as he trailed kisses to his chest and lingered upon meeting a firm nipple, grazing it gently with his teeth.

Boromir gasped softly at the contact, but the next moment he was already tugging at the soft hair trapped in his hand, and gaining a questioning glance from an already flushed Faramir.

"Wait" the warrior murmured while propping on his elbows, and then looked around in order to scan the surroundings until he saw her. "Nienna" he called, smiling when she turned to look at him. "Come here.."

Obviously not waiting for such an invitation, the woman faltered before standing up, glancing at Faramir to see if he was fine with it. But his fair face was hidden from Boromir's head, and so she just neared them, hoping he wouldn't be angry at her, sitting at their side without daring to meet the youngest's gaze, feeling clearly out of place and suddenly eager to run away as fast as she could.

You should have known better.

Smiling, Boromir reached to move a lock of hair away from her face, and then dragged himself up. Faramir, now clearly puzzled, was sitting on the grass and staring at them, and indeed he was caught off guard when his brother grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back until he was lying flat on the grass.

"Kiss him" Boromir suggested with a smirk, glancing at Nienna, before he lowered himself on his sibling in order to bestow a lingering lap on his left nipple. "And kiss him breathless. I'll take care of the rest."

Exchanging a glance with Faramir, the woman hesitantly leaned to caress his lips with hers, her hands now entangled in his golden hair, her eyes fluttering close.

She had to focus on that moment in stead of thinking about the consequences of her actions.

Don't think about it now, or it'll be even worse. You'll lose him for sure.

Anyway it was only when she felt Faramir moan softly that she finally allowed herself to push her tongue in his mouth, without even turn and see what was Boromir doing to his brother.

Concentrated. She had to stay concentrated.

As Faramir returned the kiss with fervent urgency, sucking Nienna's tongue shamelessly into his mouth now and then, his brother was slowly licking his way down to his belly. The younger man instinctively raised his hips, seeking contact, as the welcomed touch neared his groin. Boromir didn't stop his considerate ministrations, glancing up at them as his fingers closed around his brother's length, and smiled helplessly when he felt him tremble in response. Only then he allowed himself to sit up again, even if for just a few moments, and enjoy that most fascinating display as his hand started to stroke Faramir slowly, almost lazily, his grip on him tightening now and then just in order to tease. Succeeding, he could say from the tremors that were taking over his fair brother's form, and from the way he was arching his back as if to ask for more.

When Faramir moaned again into Nienna's mouth the warrior eventually took some pity, and lowered himself again. Without faltering at all, his grey eyes still fixed on them to witness their heated kissing, he swirled his tongue over the glistening tip of Faramir's erection, gaining a louder, even if muffled, groan from above. Encouraged by such reaction he closed his lips over the head, allowing him to slip into his mouth effortlessly when he next thrust his hips upward, starting to suck fervently at once.

By now Nienna was completely focused on her task, eyes closed and her hands cupping his face in a gesture which was both tender and commanding for she was holding him in place, unconsciously assuming the leading role alongside with Boromir.

It was way different from kissing his brother, but she couldn't say it was not pleasing. They hadn't kissed from that night in the little house and it had been the first and only time they had been together, and she had naively thought that Boromir could be somewhat jealous of her. She had been wrong, and this was another reason why she hadn't deluded herself in thinking that he could care about her. He didn't.

That thought managed to enrage her, for it wasn't right. It wasn't right to fall for the first time after years of waiting the one man who could be the perfect match, and then find out that he is engaged with his brother, finding her just a pleasurable diversion. No. It was not fair at all.

So her kiss had grown more and more heated, and she was nibbling not too gently at his lower lip now and then, unintentionally blaming Faramir for her distress.

The young man didn't seem to mind, though, used to Boromir's rough way like he was. It rather seemed to turn him on even more, as a matter of fact, for while his right hand was still tangled in Nienna's hair, the other had reached for his brother's head in an attempt to push him further down and to urge him to take more in.

Boromir complied eagerly, but it didn't take long before he stopped and raised his head, smiling faintly, when he sensed that his little brother was already too close. A panting Faramir broke the kiss at the same time, without letting go of Nienna, in order to meet his brother's gaze.

"Take me."

Boromir shook his head at once, the faint smile still in place. "I'm not planning to."

Pure distress took over Faramir's features. He definitely wasn't in a teasing mood, and he didn't know if he could take any more of that. It had been too long since the last time. "Please, Boromir, I--"

"Hush" the other interrupted. Then his smile widened a little, as he urged his brother to drag himself up and to make room for him right where he was laid until a few moments before. The warrior lay down, winding both arms around Nienna's shoulders, and urged her to kiss him as he widened his legs enough for Faramir to get the hint.

Closing her eyes, Nienna traced the outline of his lips with the tip of her tongue, while her hands were now busy caressing his hair.

Better to pretend that it wasn't actually happening.

She couldn't believe he wanted his brother to take him in front of her. It was something so unthinkable that she felt sick at the mere idea.

So she just kissed him as he had urged her to, carefully avoiding looking at Faramir and his ministrations.

Said man was now bent on Boromir's chest, nibbling and licking at the firm skin, one of his hands moving to reach in between his brother's parted legs, vanishing beneath. The warrior gasped softly into Nienna's mouth, but didn't break the kiss.

Every once in a while Faramir would retreat his hand, bring it to his mouth in order to wet his fingers and then resume the spreading and probing, until Boromir started to push back onto his hand and to moan softly now and then, attacking Nienna's mouth with renewed vigour.

Nienna in the meanwhile was completely focused on her task, sucking his tongue in her mouth now and then and nibbling at his lower lip once in a while in a teasing fashion, before ravishing him again just with her lips and tongue.

It was intense. Way much more than when they were alone, probably because Boromir felt somewhat at ease with his brother.

A thousand of doubt and fears where now crowding her mind, despite her previous decision not to let them have their way with her.

Was he going to leave now?

Did he feel more comfortable with Faramir?

Above all, she was scared. Scared that to see him laying there as if he was a tart, waiting for another man to take him, could change her idea of Boromir.

He was already shuddering quite fiercely when a few moments later he broke the kiss, his arms still wound tightly around her shoulders, and lowered his gaze to look at his brother, knelt in between his legs and still busy working his fingers in and out of him.

"Give it to me" Boromir panted, "I can't take any more of this."

Faramir moaned, retreating his hand at once. Then he brought it to his mouth again to wet it, and stroked himself briefly in order to spread the moisture and the slippery fluids leaking from the slit, although he feared that it still wouldn't be enough.

"It will hurt."

"I don't care." the other retorted, his arms tightening the grip at the same time. "Just go ahead."

Discarding finesse, the younger man slid his erection in the cleft of Boromir's buttocks and bent over him, biting his neck hungrily as he pressed himself in. Boromir stiffened for a few moments, but no sound escaped his lips.

Flinching when she felt him stiffen, Nienna finally looked down at their entwined limbs, concealing the way she was really feeling and showing no emotion at all.

Faramir had soon reclaimed Boromir's mouth and she had finally been able to retreat and look at the scene displayed in front of her.

It was clearly something she had never seen, but it wasn't wrong at her eyes.

To see their bodies entwined was something right and beautiful.

Yet her heart had been shattered in a million of pieces at the sight, for she knew all too well that there wasn't room for her between the two brothers.

No way she could be important to him. No way.

Shifting her position, Nienna then sat at their side, without a word, her eyes unfocused and her arms wrapped around her body in an attempt to cover herself.

As soon as Boromir realized that she had withdrawn he opened his eyes, turning, and reached out to lay a hand on her arm.

"Come here" he said softly, "Please"

Faramir had in the meantime stopped in order to shift his position, kneeling again, and hooking Boromir's legs in order to lift them for a better access. With the next thrust the warrior cried out softly, his fingers digging in Nienna's skin as he threw his head back.

To see him undone and wriggling under Faramir's touch, made her realize that she wasn't willing to give up. Not so soon anyway.

Even if she wasn't sure about her real feelings towards the whole matter, Nienna neared him again, propping on one elbow while staring intensely at his face transfigured from pleasure. It lasted but a moment, for as soon as he had opened his eyes, the woman was already leaning to kiss her way from his chin to his earlobe, licking away the tiny drops of water and sweat which had formed there.

Both Nienna's attentions and Faramir's thrusts, now getting harder and faster, had Boromir squirming and moaning shamelessly within no more than a couple of minutes. When he tried to reach and touch himself, though, Faramir brushed away his hand.

"Not yet" he panted, glancing at Nienna, "I want her to take care of that. I want her on you."

Glancing at him, the woman seemed to ponder about what to do for a moment, halting her movements.

If she would have been on him, probably Boromir would have thought about her, too, instead of thinking just about his brother.

It was a ravening thought, but she had nothing left.

And a moment later was straddling the older man, propping on her hands onto his shoulders and letting him enter her in one go.

This time Boromir actually cried out. He grasped Nienna's hips at the same time, as if wanting to stop her, although he didn't. Nor did he try to push her down. He needed something to hold on to, it was almost too much to bear, and only the feel of being enveloped so abruptly by the familiar tightness and warmth had been enough to make him almost climax strightaway.

Even Faramir seemed to be aware of that, for his rhythm had slacken considerably, and his thrusts were now slow and deep, almost gentle, instead of the furious pace he'd worked himself into until mere moments before. His hands were still holding his brother's legs up, and his eyes were still closed, his breathing shallow when he leaned in order to lick all the way from Nienna's shoulder up to her neck, lingering to nibble and suck her lobe teasingly in between his lips.

"Don't make him come yet"

"Not planning to..." she murmured, while looking intensely in Boromir's eyes, hinting a small smile.

As soon as Faramir had left her earlobe, the woman leaned to lay on the older one's chest, settling one hand at each side of his head to balance herself and beginning to move slowly and unhurriedly, raising her hips until he was almost totally out of her before to take him in to the hilt again, closing her eyes at once for her clit was now brushing against his hipbone at each thrust.

Her lips then trailed a wet pat from his shoulder to his lips, licking them with absolute devotion.

"I'm not planning to show mercy at all..."

At that point Boromir had seemingly lost any ability of coherent thought, let alone to utter anything aside from soft whimpers and heated groans. Faramir was hitting his sensitive area with each and every stroke, and Nienna's slow pace was seriously threatening to drive him insane everytime she lowered herself on him. It was almost too much. And odd. Odd for him to submit like that, used to be dominant and in control like he was, but nonetheless it was the most intense experience he'd ever had in his entire life. He had no doubt about it.

And Nienna had meant what she'd said, he had no doubt about that either, for even after minutes her pace was still unhurried, giving him no chance to claim his righteous release. Faramir, too, certainly didn't seem in a hurry. He even stopped now and then, completely buried in him, then drew back slowly and picked up the leisurely pace for a few moments, before to slam in and stop again, murmuring endearments and stroking his legs and buttocks all the while.

It was torture.

So much so that very soon the fiery tension in his loins increased even further, at the point that for a moment he thought he couldn't take any more. His moans increased just as well, his hands gripped at Nienna's hips with bruising tightness, his head fell back on the grass.

"Harder" he panted, his tone almost desperate. "More.."

At such words, Nienna turned her head in order to look at Faramir, as if asking for his allowance before to fulfill the other's needs. And as soon as he had nodded she worked herself in a furious pace, gripping at his shoulders and widening her legs even further to allow him to penetrate deeper inside of her.

She was not even kissing him, focused on her task to bring him to an unbearable pleasure, throwing her head back and crying out for the tension in her lower belly was now screaming for attention.

In her wild outburst she was unconsciously trying to punish him for the way he was making her feel, even if probably she would have never admitted it.

Each and every time she saw him so focused on Faramir she felt the urgent need to jump on him and shake him until his teeth would be clattering. Screaming. Crying. Pleading. Praying him to show some mercy and somewhat love her like she was already loving him.

This thoughts forced her to shut her eyes tightly, digging her nails deep in his skin to avoid and yell at him.

It would not be wise. At all.

Faramir, too, had obviously stopped holding himself back and was now pounding in almost wildly, gripping at his brother's thighs, his loud moans betraying how close he was. Boromir, though, was way closer. It didn't take more than a minute of such a treatment before his whole body tensed, then convulsed violently as he came harder than he'd ever had in his whole life, crying out repeatedly. To see, or rather to feel and hear his brother in the throes of pleasure triggered also Faramir's undoing. Slamming in again and again, he had to bite back a howl when he was hurled over the edge and spent himself into Boromir, shudder after shudder.

After her shudders had somewhat faded, Nienna lowered herself onto Boromir's chest, tenderly nuzzling his neck and burying her head between his neck and shoulder, wishing that everyone else but them could vanish into nothing, just to leave them alone.

But it wasn't possible, she was well aware of that, so she just relished that sweet afterglow, sharing those moments with the man she loved and his brother.

A still panting Faramir had in the meantime pulled out, and was now lying on the soft grass next to the other two, without touching them in any way, his eyes closed.

He didn't want to intrude.. And he knew that they needed to be somehow alone, he was well aware of Nienna's possessiveness towards Boromir, and of how much the beloved sibling cared for her. It was something that troubled him more than he cared to show or to admit to himself, for of all things he had no right to meddle in his brother's private life. He couldn't ask for more, he didn't want to ask for more.

Yet in that moment more than ever he wished for Boromir to hug him, cherish him like he used to do, he wished to feel him close again.

"I'm to bathe" he announced, standing up again, and walked to the river without ever turning back.

Boromir raised his head to glance at him over Nienna's shoulder, pursing his lips. When his eyes met hers again, though, he couldn't help but smile one of his bright smiles, and tighten the embrace.

"You nearly killed me, little one" he chuckled, "And I'm not complaining at all."

"I could never kill you..." she forced herself to smile, kissing his lips and sighing softly, disentangling herself from his embrace.

She hadn't missed the expression on Faramir's face, and was determined to return to the palace. She needed some time to think about the whole matter, for she couldn't meddle between the two brothers.

"Listen...I'm going back. Now do me a favour, would you?" she asked, brushing aside a lock of hair from his forehead once he had nodded. "Go and talk to him. And do it now, or I'll call myself out from all this. I cannot stand it, can you understand? I cannot see that expression on his face. I have no right to meddle and I do not want to. I would likely go away. You know I would..."

Said that, she stood up, without turning to look at him, walking to where she had previously abandoned her clothes.

She was not even able to understand what she felt in that moment.

Anger. Fury. Hurt. Delusion.

Boromir dragged himself up to sit on the grass, saying nothing else. He couldn't understand her behaviour, nor Faramir's. The only thing clear was that being too affectionate towards Faramir would hurt Nienna, and being too affectionate towards her would hurt his brother just as well, and he was suddenly wishing to be a hundred leagues away from there. Maybe with his army, leaving troubles at home and thinking just to defend his kingdom and his people.

Once dressed up properly, the woman climbed on her horse, turning to look at them and flashing a grim glance to Faramir.

A moment later she was already riding away.
